Valentine Richmond History Center’s Court End Christmas 2014

We were able to catch just a little the 2014 Court End Christmas. We stopped at St Paul’s Episcopal Church and Virginia’s Governor’s Executive Mansion. Janet was demonstrating her art of Scherenschnitte all day at the Valentine.

Church Hill Christmas House Tour – Richmond VA

If you enjoy my Photography please SHARE with your friends.

For years I have been wanting to take in Historic Church Hill’s Christmas house tour in Richmond VA. Well this was the year the 50th Anniversary of the event.  With St John’s Church to the Libby Hill Park over look and many beautiful homes.

The homes where Richmond began. The oldest community in historic Richmond with homes that were built as far back as the 1700s. The neighborhood is an elegant mix of Federal, Greek revival and Victorian.

Maymont’s Victorian Christmas – Richmond VA

We always kick off our Christmas Season with a visit to Maymont’s Old Fashioned Victorian Christmas celebration. Carriage rides , Carolers, Bell Choirs and Brass Bands mingle with Victorian dressed ladies and gentlemen. Stand by the roaring bonfire or tour the Dooley Mansion decorated for Christmas each year on the first weekend of December.
