Valentine Richmond History Center’s Court End Christmas 2014
We were able to catch just a little the 2014 Court End Christmas. We stopped at St Paul’s Episcopal Church and Virginia’s Governor’s Executive Mansion. Janet was demonstrating her art of Scherenschnitte all day at the Valentine.

Maymont’s Victorian Christmas – Richmond VA
We always kick off our Christmas Season with a visit to Maymont’s Old Fashioned Victorian Christmas celebration. Carriage rides , Carolers, Bell Choirs and Brass Bands mingle with Victorian dressed ladies and gentlemen. Stand by the roaring bonfire or tour the Dooley Mansion decorated for Christmas each year on the first weekend of December.

Christmas At The Jefferson Hotel – Richmond VA
One of my customers requested a photo of the Christmas Tree at the Jefferson Hotel. I had never been inside the Jefferson in the 36 years I have lived in the area. Boy am I glad I did. What a grande old building and at Christmas it takes on more nostalgia and beauty.
