Dave Lynch – Fine Art Photography
Hello I am Dave Lynch from Goochland VA. I am a lifetime Virginia resident. I grew up in Danville and Pittsylvania County VA. I moved to The Richmond VA area in 1976 as an insurance company district sales manager. In 1979 while visiting home in Danville a friend introduced me to my soul mate Janet Fitzgerald from Pelham NC and we were married in 1980. Janet and I have a son.
I have always had a passion for Photography. First with a Christmas gift from my parents ….an old Kodak Brownie and then we bought our first 35mm a used automatic Konica on our Honeymoon after a borrowed camera failed on us. Janet has always been an Artist. She draws , sketches, paints, does calligraphy and her real passion for over 30 years has been Scherenschnitte Paper Cutting Art. About the year 2000 Janet decided to frame some of my photography and include it in her Art Show. People gave her money for it……….. The rest as they say is history. From that point on my camera has been my constant companion. I began to go with Janet to her Art Shows and professional photographers would come by our booth and ask me questions about my technique. They would introduce themselves and tell me they were also a P R O F E S S I O N A L Photographer. Well after about ten professional photographers told me I was also a professional I decided to acknowledge the gift I was given by God the Creator to capture his beautiful world and its people.
Today I am a retired insurance agent and a full time professional photographer. I have won some awards with some of my work. I have now moved into Portraits and really enjoy capturing the joy of a High School Senior . I would love to be your Photographer . If you have a landscape that you would like to turn into art or if you have an event coming up or need a Family Portrait I would love to capture the joy and provide the memories for you.
For me photography is not about the camera, the lens, the tripod, the filter, or the computer. Photography is about “MY FATHERS WORLD.” The Beauty Of God’s Creation and the gift he gave me to capture it. Whether it be a majestic mountain, an awe inspiring sunrise or sunset, the refreshing ocean, the calmness of a trickling stream, the bold colors of fall, the soft quietness of a snowfall or one of God’s creatures including man . It is HE who has made all. We must enjoy it every day and give HIM the praise and glory for it.
